Light Excavation & Asphalt Removal
Light excavation, asphalt tear-out, driveway removal, grading, and haul-away for residential and light commercial properties across NJ and eastern PA.
What it is
Skid-steer and mini-excavator work for removing old asphalt driveways, digging out failed sub-base, rough grading, driveway extensions, drainage swales, and dirt/gravel driveway rebuilds. We break out, load out, haul away, and prep the site for whatever comes next — paving, stone, or landscaping.

Why it matters
- Old failed asphalt has to come out before a proper repave
- Correct grading protects your foundation and driveway from water
- Skid-steer access means less lawn damage than full-size equipment
- One crew handles tear-out, haul-away, and site prep — no coordinating multiple contractors
Our process
- STEP 1Site walk
Mark utilities, confirm scope, protect landscaping and structures.
- STEP 2Demo & remove
Break out old asphalt or concrete with the skid steer and load into dumps.
- STEP 3Excavate & grade
Dig to sound sub-base, re-grade for drainage away from structures.
- STEP 4Haul away
Truck off all debris. Leave the site clean and ready for base stone or paving.

FAQ
Do you haul away the old asphalt?
Yes — tear-out, load-out, and disposal are included. You get a clean site.
Can you remove a driveway and replace it with grass or stone?
Yes. We tear out the asphalt, grade the area, and can top it with topsoil/seed or crushed stone.
Will you damage my lawn?
We use tracked skid steers and lay down ply/mats on soft ground when needed. Minor turf touch-up is normal on tear-outs.
Do you fix drainage problems?
Yes — most driveway issues start with bad grade. We re-grade and cut swales to move water away from the house.
