Gravel Orders & Installation services

Gravel Orders & Installation

Gravel driveway installation, crushed stone delivery, spreading, and grading for residential and light commercial properties across NJ and eastern PA.

What it is

We source, deliver, spread, and grade crushed stone for new gravel driveways, driveway rebuilds, drainage repairs, parking pads, and construction access. Common materials include DGA (dense-graded aggregate), 3/4" clean, 3/8" chip, and #57 stone — matched to your soil, drainage, and traffic load. One crew handles the order, the trucking, and the finish grade.

Why it matters

  • The right stone size and depth is the difference between a driveway that lasts and one that rutts out in a season
  • Proper base and crown keep water off the surface and out of your foundation
  • Save the delivery-only markup — one price for stone, trucking, and install
  • Great budget alternative to asphalt for rural, long, or seasonal driveways

Our process

  1. STEP 1
    Site walk & spec

Measure the driveway, check drainage, and recommend the right stone type and depth for your soil and traffic.

  2. STEP 2
    Prep the base

Rough grade the existing surface, cut swales if needed, and re-establish a proper crown for water shedding.

  3. STEP 3
    Deliver & spread

Truck in the stone and spread it evenly with a skid steer — no piles left for you to move.

  4. STEP 4
    Grade & compact

Box-blade the surface smooth, roll or track-pack to lock the stone in, and clean up the edges.

FAQ

Do you just deliver, or do you install too?

Both. We can drop a load for a DIY project or handle the full install — spreading, grading, and compaction included.

What kind of stone do I need?

Most driveways use a compacted DGA base with a 3/4" clean or #57 surface course. We'll recommend the right blend after seeing the site.

Can you fix a gravel driveway that's rutted or washed out?

Yes — most rutted driveways just need re-grading, added stone, and a proper crown re-established. Full rebuilds are also available.

How much stone do I need?

A rough rule is 1 ton of stone per ~80 sq ft at 2" depth. We'll measure and give you an exact tonnage in the estimate.
